THE LEGENDS OF MARYSVILLE
Presented by the Marysville Art League, The Legends of Marysville seeks to uncover the mysteries, legends, and lore of the Shaded City. This family-friendly event leads attendees on a journey of mystery and the supernatural as special characters return from the past to recount spooky tales about Marysville's past in one of the community’s most spirited homes!
The 2021 event will not include the traditional walking tour. Instead, guests will be invited into the historic Houston House for an evening of supernatural storytelling. Ticket purchase includes refreshments, appetizers, and desserts. Adults 21 and over will be able to sample delicious wines from Dalton Union Winery.
What better way to experience Marysville's history than to come face to face with a spirit from the past?

FYI...
Many of the tales presented during the tours have been researched and are historically accurate. However, others have been created for entertainment purposes. Following the event, attendees will be provided the opportunity to learn which tales are historically accurate and which tales are fiction.
The Legends of Marysville offers a "tongue-in-cheek" and family-friendly representation of tales, legends, and lore. The tour may involve spooky content, but they are not scary. There is no "blood and gore" present during the event.
