FestiFair: Arts & Crafts Festival Cancelled

The organizers of the FestiFair: Arts & Crafts Festival have announced that the festival, originally scheduled to take place on Saturday, September 12, 2020, has been cancelled due to concerns with COVID-19.

According to Kimberly Hott, festival organizer, concerns related to bringing large groups of people together for a festival and difficulties in booking vendors presented overwhelming challenges. Following close consultation with local health officials and the City of Marysville, the decision was made to cancel the festival citing the best interests of the health and safety of residents, guests, and vendors.

“This was a very difficult decision,” said Kimberly Hott, festival organizer. “But ultimately our priority is the health and safety of our community. The pandemic has made it impossible to safely host the festival this year, so the only logical decision was to cancel the event out of an abundance of caution.”

Vendors will be contacted directly with information about receiving refunds.

According to Hott, the festival will celebrate its 40th anniversary when it returns on September 11, 2021. “We’re already looking forward to celebrating FestiFair’s 40th anniversary next year. We cannot wait to welcome the community back for this signature event.”

Future updates regarding FestiFair will be available online at www.facebook.com/Festifair.
